Condition Zebra is damage control as resource contention: a physical board and a digital adjudicator. Finite teams, concurrent incidents that escalate if they are not attended, and partial information about the state of the ship. The fog of war is applied by the adjudicator and not by the honesty of the players, which is the design decision the whole thing turns on.
